Shibito - Monsters from the Forbidden Siren Horror Game
On this page, you can see the monsters from the horror game "Forbidden Siren".
There are no spoilers in this article. So it can be read even by those who have not yet played Siren.
Shibito
屍人
Shibito are people who were turned into weird immortal monsters.
They do not know death, and are doomed to wander forever in the "other world” with traces of bloody tears on their faces.
These creatures are extremely aggressive and mercilessly attack everyone who catches their eye. For some reason, they have a passion for cutting their victims with sharp objects - and often carry knives, blades, and sickles as weapons. But some Shibito are also capable of using pistols and hunting rifles.
An unusual feature of these monsters is that they cannot be killed by any weapon. From wounds, they only lose consciousness for a few seconds, and then awaken to life again.
However, the ordinary humanoid Shibito is just the first form of these creatures. Gradually, the transformation will progress, changing the appearance of the inhabitants of Hanuda village beyond recognition...
Inu-Shibito
犬屍人
An evolved form of Shibito that resembles dogs or wolves.
Inu-Shibito move swiftly on all fours and attack strangers with deadly claws. And the purple horns on their heads function like insect antennas, allowing them to detect the presence of their prey from a long distance.
These monsters have great speed and strength - they can even jump onto the roofs of low buildings. But their level of intelligence is significantly lower than that of ordinary Shibito: they do not know how to use firearms and cannot open doors.
It is also worth noting that Inu-Shibito are prone to cannibalism and love to feast on human flesh.
Kumo-Shibito
蜘蛛屍人
An evolved form of the Shibito, similar to spiders.
Kumo-Shibito can move quickly on any surface and have an amazingly flexible body, which allows them to easily catch their victims.
And the habit of constantly sitting on the ceiling helps these monsters remain unnoticed until the very last second.
Hane-Shibito
羽根屍人
Winged Shibito that resemble insects.
The ability to fly freely in the air provides them with the widest view of the territory and allows to cover long distances in seconds.
Having acquired firearms, these creatures become a terrible threat - if you will be spotted by an armed Hane-Shibito, then you are unlikely to be able to escape alive.
Shibito Brain
頭脳屍人
A rare variety of Shibito with numerous growths on its head.
The "Shibito Brain" has mysterious telepathic abilities and is able to mentally communicate with other Shibito nearby. But if you manage to knock this creature out, then all other monsters within a radius of several hundred meters will also be paralyzed for some time.
These forms of Shibito differ greatly in their qualities and character. Some of them are weak - and immediately run away at the sight of danger. And some, on the contrary, are strong and very aggressive.
The most dangerous "Shibito Brain" is a nurse who can be encountered in the hospital:
Her attacks are very powerful! And it is extremely difficult to defeat her in battle.
So it’s better to immediately run away from such a monster.
